I call my show 'JIM'S CHILD OF THE '60s'It is a showcase for OBSCURE and LESSER known songs from this era of music. Everything from garage bands, country, to pop. The eclectic mix of rare and unheard songs, make this show a standout in '60s music shows. Hear groups that made only one record, or just one album. Lost treasures are unearthed for this show every week. JUST LISTEN!!!

On this show you could hear anything from pop/garage/rock/etc..I play some personal favourites, requests, and any audio oddities that fit in with the '60s.

I am 40 years old, married , with a B.A. in English. I enjoy music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. My favourite group is the Beatles--they have been since I was about 9 or 10 years old. I am artistic, I write poetry, I enjoy reading, sharing ideas, music, etc. I love an intellectual conversation, but also enjoy just relaxing and smiling as well. I love obscure bands from the 1960's, or anything obscure music wise from that era. Other bands or singers I enjoy are: Dave Clark Five, Rolling Stones, The Merseybeats, Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson, The Guess Who, Elvis, The Poppy Family, The Byrds, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Jefferson Airplane,The Lovin' Spoonful..the list could go on and on. I enjoy sharing music with like-minded people..I believe music is to be shared..I can still recall the thrill, when someone gave me some music that I was sure I would never find. From this, I know how much it means to share music with others.
